Mal Randall (Non-Executive Chairman)
Mr Randall has extensive experience in corporate, management and marketing in the resources sector, including more than 20 years with the Rio Tinto group of companies.
His experience extends over a broad range of commodities, including iron ore, diamonds, base metals, coal, uranium and industrial minerals both in Australia and internationally.
His previous directorships have included ASX and AIM listed Consolidated Minerals Ltd and Titan Resources Ltd. He is currently on the boards of United Kimberley Diamonds NL, Thundelara Exploration and is Chairman of Iron Ore Holdings Ltd.
Mr Randall holds a Bachelor of Applied Chemistry Degree from Melbourne, is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and resides in Perth.
Peter Gazzard (Managing Director)
Peter has 25 years experience in the mineral sands industry in Western Australia, in both technical and managerial roles with Cable Sands, Westralian Sands and most recently, Iluka Resources.
He has a B Sc (Hons.) degree in Mineral Technology and a Graduate Diploma in Business Management. Over many years Peter has been responsible for interpreting mineralogical data, predicting product quality and designing mining and processing plant to suit individual orebody characteristics.
Peter has implemented two mineral sands mine start-ups, one at Eneabba and one in the Southwest of WA. He has also managed mineral sands mines, separation plants and synthetic rutile plants.
John Baxter (Non-Executive Director)
John is also a Director of Continental Resource Management Pty Limited with 30 years experience in the mineral industry as a geologist and consultant, carrying out numerous resource assessments of mining and exploration properties.
John has had more than 20 years experience in assessing HMS exploration and in excess of 15 years in the estimation of mineral resources. He has published papers on HMS deposits in Western Australia as well as resource calculation and valuation methodologies.
John is a Registered Practising Geologist and has Chartered Practising Status and a member of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy (AusIMM) and the Geological Society of Australia. On completion of academic training John was employed by Geological Survey of WA for 15 years, he lectured in economic and structural geology at Curtin University for 5 years and began consulting in the mining.
Nigel Goodall (Non-Executive Director)
Mr Goodall has over 35 years experience in the mining and minerals industry. This experience has included plant design, project development, operations, management and international marketing in the mineral sands industry. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Mineral Processing from London University’s Imperial College and a MBA from the University of Western Australia.
Mr Goodall is currently Managing Director of GBRM Pty Ltd a consulting company which he established over twenty years ago and has worked with a wide range of clients in Australia and overseas.
Barry Bolitho (Non-Executive Director)
Mr Bolitho has extensive experience in the mining and minerals industries. This experience has included roles with other mineral sands companies including Matilda Minerals Limited, Magnetic Minerals Limited and Westralia Sands Limited. He holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Metallurgy and Chemistry.
Mr Bolitho is currently Executive Chairman of Matilda Minerals Limited, Chairman of Jabiru Metals Limited, and holds directorships with Andean Resources and Sub Sahara Resources.
